Lizy and Kyle's day left nothing to be desired! After waiting for years, they finally married in Lizy's home church (New Covenant Bible) in Cedar Rapids... just weeks before her graduation from Iowa State University! New name for graduation, how bout dat. ;) Although it was the end of April, winter was still hanging on outside, but the sun made sure to peek out and warm up the wedding party photos. Lizy had also picked out gorgeous blush dresses for her bridesmaids, and the gorgeous bouquets by Sue Linse helped the day to feel lovely and spring-like!

The ceremony was held in the sanctuary of New Covenant, and Lizy and Kyle's family members did a variety of musical numbers throughout the celebration. It was such a a personal and fun time, full of sweet love songs and laughter! While Lizy and Kyle greeted all their guests, I ran over to the reception space--the gorgeous historic Ushers Ferry! I'd never been there before, but it was a gorgeous space and we made sure to sneak some extra couples photos there. ;) The lodge had been decorated beautifully with florals, tulle, china place settings, and large prints of engagement photos hung around the room. It was like a fairytale come to life! 

I loved everything about this wedding & would love to photograph more weddings in the Iowa City & Cedar Rapids area in 2019--can you blame me? ;) Enjoy the photos of this gorgeous day!
