Kelly is friends with Aimee through their classes at Cedar Falls High School. Kelly andI met up for coffee earlier this summer, and bonded over our mutual love of the local Cup of Joe and UNI Suzuki’s violin program! It was even more fun getting to know her last weekend, when we wandered around CF for her senior pictures. :) Since she had quartet practice on UNI’s campus, we started her session there. Wandering around the University of Northern Iowa always feels like coming home to me, and I can’t say enough about the landscape there. But Kelly stole the show with her laid-back personality and willing spirit!

Time for an outfit change! Kelly loves fall (she was so excited for CFHS Homecoming, coming up in just a few weeks!) and so her light blue sweater was perfect to ring in the new season. Plus, it totally shows off her gorgeous (and natural) red hair!

Finally, we found some amaaaaazing yellow wildflowers. I could NOT stop squealing! Kelly’s floral pantsuit totally worked to complement the gorgeous colors of the September flora. Finishing off the evening, Kelly pulled out her violin to serenade the birds & soak up the few rays of sunshine that finally appeared!

Kelly, best wishes in your senior year! I hope that it’s better than you could dream, and doens’t go by too fast. :)
