This sweet family was the very first to hire me for family photos way back when I first arrived in Ames for college! Erin found me on Google, and the rest was history. Ben was a newborn (literally like 3 months old!) and I did a mini-session the next fall, when he was about 1. But other than a random grocery store run in, I don’t think we’d crossed paths since then!

Fast forward to this spring. Erin messaged me about updating family photos. Of course, I responded enthusiastically! Any chance to see some of the kindest people in town and photograph them again. ;) Schedules are hard, but we ended up making a Saturday morning on my way through town work for everyone. It was a little cooler than desired, and overcast (which is actually a dream come true) but these kiddos worked with me and we captured some great photos for the wall, to mail to Grandma, and to maybe even use for Christmas cards this winter!
