Des Moines Senior Photographers // Max's Downtown Fall Session
Max is the third of three siblings and by far the coolest boy in the family! (Spoiler: he only has sisters! ha!) I had the joy of photographing his older sister, Paige, last year during her senior year. Their mom loved the photos we took and graciously hired me back this past fall to photograph Max’s senior photos in the Des Moines downtown area. This young man is INCREDIBLE! He is so involved in school and extra-curricular activities, and extremely talented. Max participates in baseball, art, FFA, music, and church. He’s also been so influenced by Mr. Rogers— which is so apparent in his demeanor. (Sidenote: I went to theaters and saw “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood” this winter with Tom Hanks and dang. I cried so much + was so moved. We need more men like Fred and Hank and Max in this world!!!)
I love when seniors come to their photo sessions with ideas of how to incorporate their passions and talents in to their shoot! It’s so much fun to capture the season of life where they’re just really figuring out what ways they can impact the world. Max is no exception— he is going to do great things, even just in how he interacts with those around him in school and work. I loved that he also incorporated his Adel-DeSoto-Minburn baseball uniform at the end. It can be fun to snag a few sports uniform photos that aren’t in front of a studio backdrop! (Not that we can’t do that, if you want…!) Ok… I’m gonna let you go and sneak some views of a few favorite images from Max’s senior session in downtown Des Moines!
