Many of us are currently stranded… but not on a tropical island. No, no. We’re in our homes— which may look like an island, if you’re buying new plants at the rate I am. ;) #crazyplantlady With nobody to impress, my days often look casual. I wear pajamas all day, or my workout clothes to bed. Jeans remain tucked away in my dresser, and my general hygiene “be lackin’.”

SO— what’s a photographer to do!? After seeing a few local ‘togs share their FaceTime quarantine sessions, I decided to give it a shot! My best friend and her husband were my first test subjects and it was SO FUN. Leading up to the session, I felt more nerves than I have in months or years prior to a shoot. However, as soon as we got on the call, I was in the zone. This FaceTime photo shoot brought me more joy and focus than anything else has this past month! It felt good to be posing and editing images. Plus, I got to hang out with my friends and see their super cute house. :)

These sessions are really casual and laid back! You aren’t getting anything professional besides me and the experience… the photos will be grainy, the location whatever you have underfoot. But I promise that it’ll be a fun adventure! Whether you need maternity photos, a solo/senior/portrait shoot, photos in your first home together, or a family session… I’m down!
