Cory // Iowa State University Senior Photos in Ames
It’s Monday morning and I’m more motivated to sit at my desk than I have been for the past 6 weeks. Coronavirus did a number on my emotional wellbeing— as an extrovert, and someone who really thrives on creativity & photographing people outdoors, in the sun and rain and light! Thankfully, spring has arrived, it’s starting to be more acceptable to be outdoors in near-ish proximity to others, and some photos must go on. :) I have a wedding in the queue, so be on the lookout for that (hopefully later this week!) as well as some personal spring photos of alllll the flowers.
Cory emailed me last week, desperate for some graduation photos. His original photographer wasn’t available, and I gladly accepted the job! We decided to meet on campus, just by the Memorial Union, at Iowa State. And I found out upon arrival that Cory is a first generation college graduate! What an ACCOMPLISHMENT! Sadly, all his grad plans have changed, but we still celebrated with some great photos during the perfectly timed session. (We just made it between rain showers!) Cory dressed up sharp, and brought along his cap and gown, as well as a popper— so much fun. I LOVE grad sessions, and this might be a new favorite! During this crazy season, even small celebrations are big. SO this celebration!? It felt monumental! Enjoy Cory’s senior photos at Iowa State, in Ames!
