Evette and I met during our college years, and we didn’t really stay in touch. However, social media has a way of keeping even acquaintances connected. So when Evette moved to Des Moines, and got engaged, she sent me an email. It was so much fun to reconnect with her during engagement photos with her and her fiance, Cole! They met online and hit it off right away. After that first date, there was no looking back. These two are still looking forward to next year, when they’ll finally be married and get to celebrate with family and friends at the gorgeous Country Lane Lodge in Adel. After exploring The District in Ankeny, and even sneaking up to the rooftop with the assistance of management at Whiskey River (THANKYOUTHANYOU!), we headed over to the beach by Saylorville Lake. Cole and Evette’s first date took them on a drive along Saylorville Dam, so that was the perfect spot to end their engagement photos! Even though we had an overcast night, these two SHINED. So thrilled to party with them at their Des Moines wedding in 2021!
