early summer (late May and early June) turn out to be some of my favorite weeks for photos in the des moines metro. everything is green, some flowers still in bloom, and the days stretch long and golden as we near the summer solstice.

it just so happened that the end of May was when Hannah & Keaton made their way back to the midwest to see family and celebrate their upcoming nuptials. they’ll be heading to iceland in the upcoming week to explore and elope, then we will celebrate with family & friends near Omaha at a wonderful reception!! they graciously made time one evening to snag an hour with me to get to know each other in person, snap some engagement photos, and generally have fun together! I can’t wait to celebrate their marriage soon!
