Niki and Sam met in college at the University of Northern Iowa. They’re both passionate about music & education, and it just made sense for them to be together! They got engaged in 2019 (you can see their fun engagement photos here!) and married in 2021. (I just realized that I never blogged those photos!? 2020-2022 had me photographing close to 60 wedding celebrations, that may be why…) but now I’m hankering to post those, too. ;)

Niki emailed me earlier this summer to announce their family of four (the two of them & the two doggos!) were expanding to add a baby girl in August, and see if my schedule would allow for some updated family/newborn photos. Thankfully, I was already scheduled to be in the Waterloo area for work, and even with a week-late baby Eleanor, we were able to squeeze in some sweet family photos. Nori was the most perfectly behaved baby, and I’m so excited to watch my friends be wonderful parents to this precious child. 😍
