This is probably one of my very favorite wedding days. Not because it was the most extravagant (it was wonderfully simple) or some new exotic location (Omaha is not all that new!). Rather, it will forever be a favorite day simply because Naomi is like a sister to me, and James & Naomi have a way about them where everyone feels like family!
The ladies began their day getting ready in a suite room. Coffee, giggles, and Michael Bublé kept everyone enjoying themselves, until finally Naomi slipped into her dress, and then the tears began. The reality of what a simple Saturday in September meant began to unfold, and everyone dried their eyes and headed over to the ceremony location for photos. James and Naomi had chosen to get married in Omaha, where they would begin their lives together as husband and wife, and also as a middle ground from family and friends traveling from Iowa, Colorado, and beyond.
Did you know Omaha has a wonderful selection of parks?! They chose Elmwood Park's Grotto as their ceremony site, and it was straight out of a fairytale! Absolutely perfect. Also, this bridal party made photos SO easy. I'd hang out with them every day if I could! :) The whole day felt like a celebration with your best friends--even though I knew under 15 people there! It was wonderful to be part of this day, & I hope seeing the Teutschmann's photos brings you just a bit of the joy that their day brought me!
