Hello hello hello! It has been a long while, at least it feels like it, since I’ve blogged. Or posted much of anything on any social media. After my trip to Waco, my body quit on my and I spent two days in bed. THEN our internet went out and it looks like we’ll be needing to get a new provider, so with that and traveling to see family for thanksgiving, I’m been pretty MIA. Thank the Lord for secure wifi at Starbucks and rewards stars for free drinks! (Normally I prefer to save the Starbs for traveling, and buy local coffee in DSM, but you can’t beat their internet quality. Or available outlets!)
About 10 days ago, Kirsten and Mike married in an intimate wedding ceremony. It was such a treat to escape the wifi-less apartment in Des Moines and head to their wedding in CF! I’ll be sharing a few photos from their snowy wedding day in the coming weeks, but for now, here are some photos from their fall engagement photos. Kirsten has two gorgeous and spirited daughters, so we of course included them in some (most!) of the photos. These two gals warmed up to me, and it really helped me to connect with them the day of the wedding. :) Plus, we had the most gorgeous evening light when we took family pictures and gosh, I’m jealous.
PS-If anyone in Des Moines still needs family photos, I have a few openings for Christmas family photos! We’ll head to a Christmas tree farm and be jolly & bright for as long as we can pretend to be warm!
Kirsten & Mike and girls, thank you for hanging out with me, and letting me photograph your family multiple times this year! I’m excited to see your marriage and family develop and grow with each coming year.
With love,
Amelia Renee
