“these are a few of my favorite things!”
moving into a historic neighborhood in Des Moines (the drake neighborhood) brought about all the mood city feels this autumn. after living in smaller towns and cities in iowa, it’s exciting to live in a place that hustles and bustles just a little bit more! everything is new here, including living smack dab in the middle of every wal-mart and aldi in the metro. hahaha.
if you follow me on pinterest, you know i’ve been alllll about the dreamy fall feels. christmas and december is my most favorite season (it’s just straight up magical and holy)… but i’m seriously excited about the month of november. there’s something about the bare trees, not quite freezing days, and the smell of wet leaves shuffling under your rainboots, isn’t there?
i plan on snapping some photos this month to add to my personal collection, and of course— december/christmas photos as we start to see decorations and trees appear! but this mood board is just lovely and warm. full of hot drinks, turning leaves, historic homes, and cozy knits, i give you: my fall dream mood board! all photos can be found on my pinterest board, linked above & i don’t take credit for any of the photos that i didn’t take. ;)
