Lauren emailed me a few months ago about photographing her wedding (at a local winery just outside Ames!) and I jumped at the chance! I've actually photographed there--but nothing was green yet. :) I'm anxiously awaiting this coming September!!!
Anyhow... we talked on the phone, chatted more over text message, and I finally got to meet her and Justin, her fiancé. We met halfway in Story City to capture some "spring" engagement photos. Although not as green as April has been in the past, it still made a gorgeous backdrop for their photos! I know they both were nervous about being awkward. But for real!? Take a look!
