Heather and Clinton have been together for years now, and are finally getting married next summer in her hometown of Sioux City! Although they live near Iowa City, where Clinton is still in school, Heather really wanted to do their engagement pictures in her hometown. SO, this past weekend, I drove up to meet the two of them, their adorable dogs, classic restored family vehicles, and spend an evening on the lake!
Clinton is an avid hockey player, so we took some photos on the ice of him & Heather! The ice rink in Sioux City was even kind enough to put their wedding date up on the scoreboard. (6/8/2019) How fun is that?!
During her years at home, Heather and her dad restored this old red corvette together. She picked out the parts, and they spent hours working on the car. What a neat project! Not only is it a sentimental piece, but DANG it’s sexy. ;) So perfect for a romantic engagement picture session… at sunset… by the lake… with your fiance! Also, Heather’s high/low black romper outfit and tall green suede stilettos really brought some spice to this portion of our shoot.
Ok, I can die happy now! WHAT IS THIS!? I felt like I was on a CMA music video shoot or something!
Oh, did I mention TWO vintage restored cars!? This car has been Heather’s dad’s since his high school years. Can you say “vintage red ford truck!?"
Clinton has the best smile— I can hear him laugh just looking at this photo. Heather, you done good, girl!
