Late summer and early fall are some of the prettiest times in the Midwest. Yellow wildflowers pop their shiny faces out of deepening grasses, and storms roll in at sunset to replenish the fields. Megan + Evan either work or enjoy what the outdoors has to offer here in Iowa, and so we made sure to incorporate that into their engagement session. It was a beautiful evening, and I’m so excited for their wedding next summer!

Fun Fact! Megan’s older sister Rachel was one of my first college friends…and one of my first friends to get married and trust me with her wedding photos! :) Also, Megan worked with my best high school friend’s husband (until he switched jobs) so we have lots of mutual friends and I just love that! Iowa, you’re a small world and I’m not mad about it.
