Kelly saw my post on Facebook (I think!) about college graduation senior photos, and emailed me this past winter. We set plans to photograph her on Drake University’s campus in the spring, with no ideas that COVID would make such a mess out of her senior year plans! Thankfully, our schedules still aligned and we had a lovely sunny evening in May to explore a quiet Drake campus in Des Moines. Kelly also reached out to Griff, the bulldog mascot at Drake, for some photos… I had not idea that was even possible! He was such a good boy, and sat quietly (probably more in anticipation of treats than photos, ha!).
Kelly has plans for Grad School this fall, to continue her studies. I know she’ll go far and do so well— after all, the Class of 2020 are going to be resilient rockstars! We celebrated with champagne popping (and sipping!) and lots of fond memories across the rolling campus sidewalks. Kelly, best wishes on your endeavors at Marquette Uni for occupational therapy!!!
