Laura and Andrew met through work, and have had a whirlwind romance! They got engaged this past summer— one of the joys of 2020 that can’t be taken away, pandemic or not!— and planned a wedding for January 2nd, 2021. As cases spiked over the holidays, they made the hard (but right) decision to downsize their wedding to just close friends and family. If you ask me (an outsider!) it was just as lovely a day… if not more!
Laura got ready in the bridal suite at Bien Venu, the newest wedding venue in Cedar Falls. It’s incredible! I’ll be recommending it to all my couples in the Cedar Valley. :) Andrew hung out with the guys, playing pool and snacking, until Laura was ready… and he looked so sharp in his Italian blue suit—the perfect color to contrast the winter snow accumulating outside the venue.
This wedding will be one I’ll never forget. Andrew and Laura demonstrated such sweet joy, quiet resolve in covenanting forever, and excitement to start life together. Enjoy!!
I don’t normally blog the family photos… but this one is special! 3 of the 4 Baridon siblings hired me for their wedding photography, and my summer plans in college were the only thing that kept me from that illusive 4th wedding! It’s been a joy to watch this family mature & bloom… and to be part of their milestones! You all are some of the kindest humans I know, and I’m thankful to have been so included in your lives.
(also, yes it was FREEZING, but so worth it to take family photos outside! just look at that light.)
