Diana emailed me after discovering my Instagram in March. She explained that she was helping her grandmother move back to the Midwest, and wanted to share a photo session with her! This family lost their beloved patriarch too soon, and with the pandemic underway a year ago, a celebration of life was unable to happen. So, in memorium, Diana wanted to honor his life & the love he leaves behind …and to share that with her grandma, Judy! Isn’t that just the most tearfully wonderful idea!?

We met up on a sunny Tuesday evening in early May. The cherry blossoms at Arie Den Boer Arboretum were about gone, but the evening was lovely regardless. These women are full of life and zest, we laughed so much throughout our time together. The following are just a glimpse into our time, this sweet granddaughter/grandmother session was an absolute treat. I know that “Pappy” loved to see these two enjoying one another and remembering all the love they shared during his time on earth. 💕
