Diane & Jamie are absolute GOALS. And I’m so excited because they already feel like friends, too!!
We’d talked on the phone last fall when they booked me for their 2022 wedding … but hadn’t officially met. As soon as I saw them, I got so excited! I remarked that I already felt like I knew them, and Jamie said Diane felt similar since we follow each other on Instagram & like each other’s posts. That’s just a sign that these two are some of the best kind of people!
Even though these two will be getting married in their hometown of Des Moines with a ceremony at the Wakonda Club … we made engagement photos happen in Minneapolis, since that is where they live & study & work!
I LOVE Minne in the summertime, and we had truly the perfect weather, and golden hour for photos down by the waterfront and city skyline. You can’t beat watching the sun set behind the city of Minneapolis, while people walk across the stone arch bridge and birds sing their summertime songs. We wandered the streets of St Anthony Main, people watching, taking photos, and laughing together… Minneapolis and Saint Paul never disappoint me! Especially with drinks at Jefe, chatting about cats and the Iowa State Fair afterwards. ;) Cheers to these two- and celebrating in just a couple months again!
