It’s never lost on me when a couple shows up to their engagement session and greets me with warm hugs and smiles. Marissa and Moose (as he’s known to family + friends!) brought such a kind, warm energy to their engagement photo date, and were willing to brave the chilly sunshine to capture their love. Even though they don’t get married until this coming fall, we had a short timeframe for photos because Moose had surgery scheduled for early January!
I love a good middle school romance, which is where these two met! However, they didn’t date or have any romantic interest in each other at that point. But then…fast forward to college, and Moose “randomly’ reached out. They began dating, have navigated surgery (yes, once before!), long distance at different schools, and now are finally in the home stretch… engaged and getting married in their hometown of Mason City later this year!! (Let all the people say AMEN am I right!?)
Marissa and Moose, thanks for being so wonderful to run around the cold beach with - I can’t wait to see you both again this year for your WEDDING!!
