This fall, I did my first-ever Fall Mini-Session weekend. And it was CRAZY!!! I actually had to add time slots, which blew my mind. It was the perfect welcome to living and being a family photographer in Des Moines! The day of my mini sessions in Des Moines, it was cool and cloudy, perfect weather for fall photos. I had the best time meeting some new families, and playing with the cutest kids! Hopefully, each of these families are able to send out some fun Christmas cards this December to show off these photos!
I’m still booking winter family portrait sessions through the end of 2018 and into early 2019! If you’re interested in a cozy in-home session, or a studio session in the Des Moines area, just let me know! Each season of life is special, and although not everyone can do professional photos every single year, I really do think that they’re worth investing in every few years. Young kids change so fast, so if you’re kiddos are under 12, and you haven’t had family photos taken with your youngest yet… you maybe should consider that. ;)
Family photos aren’t just for young families, though! Honestly, they’re always wonderful to update. Plus, if you do an in-home session, you’ll be able to make (and capture) memories specific to these years of life— no matter which season or stage!
Let me just interrupt to ask: is there anything more precious than sleeping newborn!?
