Dalton + Sierra’s wedding day ended up being one of the most memorable marriages I’ve ever witnessed! Not only was it a gorgeous fall day, with some sun + some clouds, over at the stunning Clover Barn … but it was full of the kindest family, a maid of honor in labor, and the widest range of emotions.
My 2nd shooter Erin and I arrived at the barn, ready to take detail photos of all of Sierra’s gorgeous boho items. We were whisked to the side immediately, told that Sierra’s sister and MOH was in possible labor (over a month early!) with her 2nd babe, and that our timeline may go out the window. Of course, we did everything we could to keep calm + act normally, but I think both our veins felt full of adrenaline! The timeline flexed to accommodate the situation, but thankfully we were able to still capture the story of the day as it unfolded. And even more gratefully, Sierra’s sister was able to come back from the check in at the clinic to stand by her side + even gave her toast before heading back to the hospital and bedrest. (And, even more thankfully, baby girl stayed put for another week before joining her incredible family!!)
If you’ve ever been to or had a wedding at Irishman Acre’s Clover Barn, you’ll recognize this crew! Sierra works at the barn on weekends, coordinating for weddings, and her parents are the owners! They’re literally some of the best humans this world has. They planned the dreamiest “bohemian” styled wedding for Dalton + Sierra… the table settings for charcuterie were to die for!!! 😍 This blog post proved difficult to narrow down… so enjoy about 65 of my favorite photos from the day! ;)
