If you had told me 2 years ago that I’d live through a pandemic, still be running a business, and be returning back to Hawaii, I’d have been very confused! ha. Isn’t that just life, though!? I’m thankful that God has continued to provide, even in these tumultuous times. This Hawaii trip was definitely not something I was planning on, yet it happened and I’m thankful to the chance to connect with some good friends, make new industry connections, and escape a literal blizzard in the midwest once again!
The Workshop
After picking up the girls I was responsible for from the airport, playing suitcase jenga, and succeeding… we decided to grab food and take it to the beach! We had a wonderful time getting to know each other, watching the waves, and even spying on some exciting helicopter maneuvers by the crew filming Murder Mystery 2 at Kualoa Ranch!! And of course, grabbed shave ice from Coconut Girl & Guys!
Lots of learning, lots of not enough sleep- and wayyy too many photos ;)
HUGE shoutout to the gals at Roamers for setting up some great sessions! <3
Couldn’t end out time together any other way than snagging Raised by the Waves for breakfast! 😋
Solo Time
Where I ate:
-Duke’s
-Hula Grill
-Sunrise Shack Waikiki
-Maui Brewing Co
-Poke Fix
Where I got coffee:
-Kai Coffee (got a savery crepe here, too!)
-Honolulu Coffee in the Sheraton (mmmmm love this place)
-Island Vintage Coffee Waikiki (waited in a line for legit an hour on Sunday morning lol)
What I did:
-Paid $30 for an hour-long day sail with Waikiki Adventures… easily one of the best things I could have done! I wish I’d done a longer, sunset cruise.
-Rented a beach chair w/umbrella for $25 for 2 hours to read, get in the water, and get some sun (and shade!)
-Splurged on Afternoon Tea with my dear friend Myra at the Moana Surfrider! SUCH an incredible experience. PS Go hungry cuz you’ll have SO much food!!
