Kayla & Pablo reached out to me in early 2023 about photographing their wedding at ISU. Kayla and Pablo met at church, where Kayla works with youth and Pablo began attending, after moving to Ames from Argentina for a job in the mathematics apartment.

These two built a friendship and then slowly, a relationship. They decided to take the leap and get married in spring of 2023, surrounded by family and close friends. The couple opted out of a traditional “wedding party” and instead focused on photos with family at church after the ceremony, and headed to Iowa State campus for couple’s portraits before heading to their reception! It was fun to get more time with just the two of them.
