Growing up, newborn babies were one my most favorite things. Turns out, they still are. ;) And it’s SO fun being in the stage of life when friends are having their first (or second) baby. Literally, I know of at least one baby being born each month until mid-summer?! It’s wild- but also fun to get to capture my friends’ changing families and get some extra newborn snuggles, too!
If you’ve followed my business for the past 5 years, you probably recognize Emily. I’ve gotten to capture her life in so many ways for the past 9 or so years. It’s WILD that a year ago, I had no idea that she and Joel were considering moving back to Iowa from Minnesota… and that now, they’re parents!! Watching these two transition into parents brings tears to my eyes. They’re doing a great job so far!! Capturing baby J’s early days will not be forgotten by me- here’s a few favorite moments (both posed, and candid). <3
