Few things are more worthwhile than celebrating one’s graduation from higher education! University graduation photos capture a milestone moment in one’s life that has been worked tirelessly towards. They’re the perfect excuse to get an extra wear out of the cap & gown you’ve spent years working towards, and a fun way to celebrate (by yourself or with friends!) before or after graduation weekend.
Alyson wanted to capture some photos with her horse, since he is a big part and inspiration in her life. She graduates this spring, but wanted photos last summer so that they’re ready to go this year (and we got a warmer day than late April typically grants. Love a woman who thinks ahead!!) I drove through rainshowers that summer evening, but thankfully the sun was already shining again by the time I reached Ames.

We had a gorgeous sunny evening, snagging photos where Regan is boarded, and then headed to campus for a few pictures in a variety of special spots on the always stunning and historic campus! Iowa State, you never fade. #loyalforevertrue
